at Encounter Cove
Camp Rooted was created 5 years ago to help Memorial Baptist Rooted Student Ministry build Christ-center relationships and experience God’s transforming power.
Encounter Cove property was formerly known as Windermere and many of our members attended camp there as kids. Rooted students will not only enjoy the huge camp with loads of amenities, we will spend 1 day working on a renovation project. Our goal is to come back to Encounter Cove each year and watch God use this incredible property for His glory.
We will be staying in a Dogwood lodge with one side for girls, one for boys and a conference/kitchen space in the middle. 5-6 people per room with a private bath (like a hotel room with bunkbeds). We will eat lunch and dinner at the lodge and then head to the dining hall for dinner. All buildings are air-conditioned. The camp is very large so be prepared to get your exercise!
What does camp include?
- Daily small group and Bible study on Jesus parables to grow closer to God and each other
- Mission Day! We will be working on a mission project

Leave Memorial Thursday, July 31st @ 1pm
Arrive back at Memorial Sunday, August 3rd @ Noon
