Familified: One Body, One Father, One Family | 1 Corinthians 12Everybody came from a family. Some good. Some hard. Some you're still healing from. Here's what the whole Bible keeps saying: family was God's idea first. And He has never stopped building one. This Sunday, Pastor David brought the church together to celebrate kids and youth camp - and to show from Genesis to 1 Corinthians 12 that God has always been gathering His children. Kari (18 years in children's ministry) and Tisha (6 years leading youth) shared the vision and heartbeat of what's happening with the next generation. And a family in our church stood up and said what happens when a church actually lives this out - what it means to walk through something impossibly hard and not walk through it alone. Many of our foster families in the Jefferson City area are welcoming children into their homes with little more than the clothes they're wearing. As school begins, these children need backpacks, school supplies, and other essentials so they can walk into the classroom feeling prepared and confident.
