Milestones
It is good to pause and recognize moments in your child’s faith journey. It will help you both remember specific times when covenants were made with God. We celebrate Child Dedication, Ready to Worship, Blessing of First Bibles, Discovery Class (Salvation/ Baptism/ Lord’s Supper), Spiritual Gifts, Bridge Quest and Crossover. Be on the lookout in the church LifeLine, Facebook, and emails for important dates of milestones.
Cross Training Camp
Cross Training Camp is a day camp with a sports component and a themed Bible teaching time. The cost of CTC is $50, but includes after care, snack, lunch, a t-shirt, and a water bottle. Watch for signups to begin on the first working day in March each year. Fills up quickly! (Link to event)
Truth Trek
This is an away trip for completed 3rd -6th graders. It is a four year rotation of trips and are all amazing! Activities are subject to change.
Year 1: Creation/Dinosaurs St. Louis and Columbia; City Museum, Science Center, Zoo, Museums, mission project
Year 2: Geology/Archeology Sullivan and Meremec State Park; caving, hiking, Elephant Rock, Johnson Shut ins, stream clean, high ropes course, Mt. Taum Sauk
Year 3: Injustice/ Slavery Springfield/ Branson; Sight and Sound theater, Dixie Stampede, Mission projects
Year 4: Faith Journey/ Pioneers Kansas City, Independence Frontier Museum, Sea Life, Fort Osage, Wagon ride, Missouri Town 1855, puppet museum
