Packing List

  • Bedding is NOT required (The room is hotel style with bedding and 1 bath towel per person)
  • Old Clothes
Wear old clothes on Thursday when you come to the church!  – The first thing we will do is our mission project.
If you plan to play paintball or explore the cave – bring another set of old clothes AND a plastic bag to put them in afterwards.
  • Swimwear
Girls – one-piece suit or a “tankini” that covers you well.  If you don’t have a one-piece, wear a tank top or tshirt over your suit.  If your swim attire is not distracting, you have succeeded. 🙂
Guys – swim shirts are NOT required this year, but might be more comfortable so you don’t burn in the pool or the lake.
  • Sunscreen/Hat/Sunglasses – it is super hot and sunny this week and we will be outdoors
  • Swim Towel (Bath towel is provided, swim towel is not)
  • Smell good and look good stuff – Soap, shampoo, deodorant – please!
  • Clothes– t-shirts and shorts, under stuff, socks, jammies to wear in front of all your friends
  • Closed toed tennis shoes are required for the cave and some activities.
  • Water bottle – we will be outside and it’s hot so bring a water bottle!
  • Bible (if you need one we’ll give you one) & Pen
  • Flashlight or headlamp – for the cave
  • Snacks (optional)
  • Money (optional) – only if you plan to do paintball (see below) or buy snacks. There is a snack bar and gift shop
  • Cell Phones, headphones, chargers (sometimes these will be allowed)
Or a watch to stay on-time for events

Medication & Food Allergies:

  • Medicine – Give to Sara in ziplock bag on Thursday with name & instructions
  • Food Allergies – Let Tisha know with details asap. students@memorialchurch.net

Safety:

  • We want everyone to be safe and healthy for a great camp experience.  If a student is feeling sick, we will isolate them, check temperatures and possibly call a parent for pickup.
  • Students may choose to explore the cave which will require crawling thru small spaces. Be prepared!
  • Students may choose to do the high-ropes course. There are trained professionals from the camp running these activities.
  • Students may choose to do the lake challenge course. Life jackets are required at the lake. Life guards are on duty.
  • Students may choose to do paintball (additional fees below). It can leave welps. Jeans and a long sleeve shirt are highly recommended.
