Rooted Ministry exists to:

Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ regularly to students grades 7-12 so that they may come to know him personally.
Build relationships so that we may encourage and support one another.
Equip students with God’s word so that they may be firmly rooted in their faith and reach others as they are sent out.

Colossians 2:6-7. Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

Sunday Mornings: 10:45 AM

Our Sunday morning group meets after the 9:15am service. This is typically a smaller, less structured event and we love to spend time with the students and recap the sermon that morning.

Wednesday Nights: 6:15pm – 7:30pm

Currently, we’re diving deep into a study on the Trinity. We often cover books of the Bible and sometimes topical studies. Next up is a study on…dating! When the weather is nice, we take our studies on the road for “Rooted Bussin'” nights around Jefferson City. A typical night starts with group games, then we share “highs and lows” of the week, a large group Bible study followed by small group breakouts

Wednesdays thru February: We’re starting our MoneyWise sessions – Biblical perspective on money and practical info on how to give, save and spend wisely.

Feb 14 – Valentine’s Day Event 6:15pm

Feb 16-18 DNOW Weekend
The weekend in St Louis will feature an in-depth Bible study, small group time, games at the house we stay in, serving with Hazelwood Baptist Church and a fun afternoon at City Museum!!. Cost is $5. It’s going to be awesome.

March

March 27th – fun night for Spring Break. If the weather is nice we’ll hop on the bus to the community park.

April

Rooted Bussin’ Trip for one of our Wednesday studies.
April 24 – Game night!! Board games, Mario Kart – just a fun night to hang out.

May 19 – Graduate Recognition at Memorial 9:15am follow by brunch for students and families
